Parks & Recreation – Buckhead is home to a variety of parks, sports complexes and world class golf courses. Habersham residents enjoy quick access to both Chastain Park and Atlanta Memorial Park. Chastain Park spreads across 320 acres and includes: tennis courts, baseball fields, an indoor gym with basketball courts and a weight center, a children’s playground, 3.3 mile running/walking path and Atlanta’s most popular summer concert venue. The Chastain Horse Park serves all levels of equestrian needs nearby.

Atlanta Memorial Park is slightly smaller, but has an expanded selection of tennis courts, 2 club houses and is home to the famous Bobby Jones Golf Course. Schools & Education – Buckhead is home to a variety of well respected public and private schools for both children and adults. In addition to Garden Hills Elementary and E Rivers ElementaryNorth Atlanta High serves as a double Magnet School. The School of International Studies and the Center for the Performing Arts are two of the most outstanding programs offered by the Atlanta Public Schools.
